About

I’m a software engineer with more than ten years in game development. My work sits in the technology behind the games: engines, graphics, and the tools artists and designers use to build them.

I have built UI components for a game engine, and the editor tools technical artists use. Before that I spent several years on rendering, and earlier I built gameplay systems, including a VR game and a local multiplayer game.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a master’s in Computer Graphics, Multimedia and Virtual Reality. My master’s thesis was a C++ game engine with a Vulkan renderer. My interest today is the architecture and design of applications.

Most of my time now goes to guiding AI agents as they implement features for the game engine.

Outside of work I write Turing Codex, tutorials on computer science and mathematics, and I keep my projects on GitHub.
